Why???

In my WW meeting yesterday, a girl mentioned that a previous WW leader had the group write down 100 reasons why they wanted to lose weight.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a list person! And we're not just talking 'to do' lists and grocery lists....but I have lists of what I need to do to accomplish each item on my to do list, lists of things we need around the house, lists of things to talk to people about, even lists of lists to make....I am a little OCD when it comes to that. So, what better thing for me to write than a list of reasons why I'm going to lose weight?!

1.to prevent future health issues

2. to regain self confidence

3. for the sense of accomplishment

4. so Mosia will not be embarassed by my size as he gets older

5. so I'm not self conscious of how much space I take up

6. so I can ride on an airplane without worrying if they're going to make me buy 2 tickets

7. so I can ride on rides at an amusement park without worrying if I won't fit

8. so I can go to a theater or stadium or restaurant without worrying if I'll fit in the seat

9. so I can feel comfortable wearing skirts and capris again

10. so I can find boots that fit

11. so my feet will stop swelling

12. to have more engergy

13. to be able to buy clothes anywhere

14. so I don't feel self conscious eating in front of others

15. to have the courage to go scuba diving
16.so I'll have the confidence to talk to a Dr. about not being able to get pregnant, or better yet, maybe the weight loss will help me get pregnant naturally.
17. so if I do get pregnant, I'll actually look pregnant!
18.so when Ko calls me sexy, I'll believe him
19. to feel comfortable doing it with the lights on- sorry TMI
20.to be able to climb a flight of stairs without being out of breath
21.to be happy with what I see in the mirror
22. so I don't think I'm dying every time I have a little bit of pain
23. so I won't be embarassed to go to the Dr.
24.to see the look on people's faces when I tell them I lost 200 lbs
25. to prove to myself that I can do this
26. so I can do the Breast Cancer 3 day walk
27. so I can go skydiving
28. so I can join a Masters Swim Team and not feel embarassed to be seen in a swimsuit
29. so I can ride a bike without being embarassed
30. to join a gym without being embarassed
31. maybe I'll have the courage to go back to school
32. so when I don't get a promotion or new job, I don't wonder if it was because of my size
33. to easy my anxiety of meeting new people
34. to feel comfortable enough to play at the park with Mo, instead of sitting on the bench watching him
35. to be able to go hiking
36.

So, this is a work in progress and will be updated as I think of things---so they're not in order of importance...just how I think of them
